Biography

Tracey Wheeler Noonan BIO.
Tracey Wheeler Noonan is a published author, screenwriter, entrepreneur, and public speaker. She is best known for co-founding Wicked Good Cupcakes with her daughter, Dani Vilagie—a business that skyrocketed to national fame after a successful appearance on Shark Tank. Their innovative concept of shipping cupcakes in mason jars turned them into an industry leader.
In addition to her entrepreneurial achievements, Tracey is also a published author. Her first book, "A Wicked Good Idea: How We Succeeded in Building a Successful Brand in Spite of Ourselves," became an Amazon Best Seller, offering a candid and inspiring look at her journey in building a successful brand from the ground up.
Beyond the world of business and publishing, Tracey is also a screenwriter. She has written two original screenplays, "CIRCUS MOM" and "LT." In addition, she has collaborated with fellow stand-up comedian Juston McKinney on "WTF (WHAT THE FAMILY)", a dramedy chronicling her deeply personal and often humorous journey caring for her parents, Judy and Ed, as they battled Alzheimer’s Disease—all while living under the same roof with her ex-husband, Scott, and daughter, Dani.
Tracey is also a passionate public speaker, sharing her experiences in entrepreneurship, caregiving, and personal resilience. She has been featured in discussions on dementia caregiving, reflecting on her own challenges and triumphs in caring for her aging parents.

Passion

I love mentoring high school students. That really puts a big ole' smile on my face. That and playing music. I've played drums and sang professionally. Now I'm learning how to play the guitar. I love it!

Best Story

When I arrived home from work and found my mother tied up by my dad, with dental floss...One of so many. I also like to share what the Shark Tank experience was like for us.

Origin Story

We were invited to be on Shark Tank because of the way we shipped our product. We produced a commodity, Cupcakes, but the twist was when we discovered that by layering cake, filling and frosting in mason jars, not only did we increase the product shelf life but we could ship anywhere in the US and have the product arrive fresh and intact.
