Passion

Creating a safe space for people to feel comfortable being honest about their organizing challenges. Helping to create and maintain solutions that allow people living with chronic disorganization to live the life of simplicity they crave. Teaching, coaching, and guiding clients to Make Space for Blessings by getting organized. I'm the one other professional organizers call on to help "unhelpable" clients.

Stuff I love to do in my down time: Swing dancing! Spending time with my (adult) children, extended family, and friends. Volunteering with my synagogue. No BS - helping others totally fills my cup.

Best Story

To be provided - there could be so many. Each client has his/her own story, and there have been a few hundred clients.

Origin Story

The (short) back story: I had been a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) for several years and had small children at the time. The very first a-ha moment was while sitting with my father and step-mother in the office of their financial advisor and thinking, "I don't want to do this anymore." The germ of the idea took hold and grew without my even realizing it for a few months. [Fun fact: While reading Maeve Binchy's book "Scarlet Feather" during this time, I could feel some fire in the belly starting but couldn't really identify why!]. Getting more restless and uncomfortable as a CPA, I took off a month (November is slow for accountants) to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I reached out to a former accounting colleague who had left the firm where I was working and told her how miserable I was. She said, "I know a professional organizer through one of my networking groups. You'd be really good at that." Lightning strike! Yes, of course that was what I would do! So I formed my LLC and immediately reached out to everyone I knew to tell them of my new venture. In 12 hours, I had my first, albeit pro bono, client. Fast forward almost 20 years and I'm now a 6-figure business owner (looking to grow to 7 figures!). There have been highs and lows along the way; I'm humbled by the path my life has taken since I became a professional organizer.
