Biography

Until recently Michelle Kelley was a Hostage Negotiator and FBI Special Agent. Before that Michelle taught 2nd grade, a very logical career change. Now she’s entered the business arena, sharing the skills of elite listening with people from all walks of life.
As a counter terrorism agent, 9/11 trial contributor, and educator there are things she can never reveal and some she can. Fortunately, the lessons she shares from her high-octane career transfer to valuable skills we can all use in everyday life. Michell is now the US Lead for The Listening Institute – a training consultancy with one simple mission: To teach professionals to listen and influence like hostage negotiators, so they can make better deals.
