KeishaMarie is a retired USAF combat veteran, mental fitness, and certified transformational life coach, speaker, and author. She founded the Veteran WingWomen Organization supporting women veterans reacclimating back into society after leaving the military.
She loves meeting new people and learning about their stories and life experiences. Currently, she is connecting and bringing visibility to the veteran women in the Tampa community as well as nationwide.
KeishaMarie’s mission is to inspire women on their journey toward discovering purpose, nurturing a positive mindset, and embracing an exuberant life of fulfillment and abundance.
One of the things that fills my cup and makes my heart smile is seeing others come from less fortunate situations, when the odds are against them and they become super successful.
In addition, happy people and happy love stories. I believe that love and happiness is the ultimate form of gratitude and when people are happy they are willing to share happiness with others easily.
This community is for women veterans like “Stacy.” Stacy is a 10-year United States Army veteran with 3 children-one in college and 2 just under 6. Stacy is an MST survivor and has experienced several toxic “situationships” throughout her military career. Her youngest kids' father is not ideal therefore they are no longer together. Stacy is alone a lot and has no friends-it's just her and her kids. She doesn’t work and she wants community and friends to experience life with but Stacy has a hard time trusting people. She has a passion for newborn photography and wants to pursue this hobby. Stacy came to one of our events and connected with another Army veteran and she invited Stacy to her church. The purpose of this community is to bring veteran women together so they can find their community within the community.
After leaving the United States Air Force and moving from North Dakota to Florida, I found myself having a difficult time fitting in and readjusting back into society. Alone and afraid, I found a community within a network marketing company however I ended up having over 60K in debt trying to pretend that I was still the leader and had my life together attempting to keep up with the other powerhouses in the company. But as I was building my network marketing team, I consistently thought of the other veteran women who might have left the service after me and were having a hard time fitting in and finding a community now as a civilian. We have to find our identity again because a majority of us went into the military as a teenager therefore we have no sense of self. It takes 6-8 weeks to “in-process” to be a military member and there is no “out-processing” to learn to be a civilian. Therefore after working 9 years in the network marketing company, I walked away to create a community for veteran women to reacclimate back into society.
