Biography

Theresa Rose, CSP® is a two-time TEDx speaker, award-winning author, strategic advisor, and brand crystallizer who helps leaders get clear, stop second-guessing themselves, and move forward with confidence.

Known for making complex ideas simple, visual, and actionable, Theresa brings a distinctive blend of strategic thinking, humor, storytelling, and audience interaction to every stage. Her work explores clarity, confidence, personal brand, leadership, and the internal dynamics that shape how we make decisions and communicate what matters.

Theresa has spent decades working across corporate, entrepreneurial, and thought leadership environments, helping executives, experts, and organizations crystallize their ideas into language and strategies people can understand, remember, and act on.

Her newest body of work, The Boardroom Within™, gives people a practical way to understand the different perspectives influencing their decisions so they can align their thinking and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Whether she’s delivering a keynote, facilitating a workshop, or coaching live from the stage, Theresa creates experiences that are insightful, engaging, and refreshingly human.

Passion

What puts a smile on my face? That moment when someone suddenly sees clearly.

I love helping people untangle competing thoughts, ideas, and expectations so they can hear their own wisdom again. Whether we’re talking about leadership, personal brand, a big decision, or what comes next in life, I’m fascinated by what happens when the noise quiets down and things finally click.

Clarity changes energy. It creates confidence, movement, and possibility. Watching that happen in real time is one of my favorite things in the world.

Best Story

As a little girl, I spent a lot of time sitting in Perkins restaurants all over the Midwest while my mom conducted recruiting interviews.

I’d sit next to her, listening as she confidently asked prospective recruits, “Tell me, other than fear, is there any reason why you wouldn’t want to purchase your training materials and move forward today?”

What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was getting an early education in communication, confidence, persuasion, and what makes people make a decision and what holds them back. Apparently, some kids get coloring books at Perkins. I got sales training.

Origin Story

My origin story starts in my childhood bedroom, where I lined up stuffed animals against the closet doors and performed variety shows for them with a hairbrush as my microphone. (Henry, the little yellow dog with the cute nametag on his chest, was my sidekick.)

I loved performing, communicating, and getting a reaction from an audience, even when that audience was made of plush.

In second grade at Central Park Elementary in Roseville, Minnesota, my teacher, Mr. Moseman, gave me the award for “Most Enthusiastic.” Decades later, that quality still serves me well.

I grew up watching my mother build her Mary Kay business, so I also learned early that enthusiasm alone isn’t enough. You have to be clear about what you’re offering, believe in it, and connect with people at the right moment.

Today, one of my favorite formulas is:

Sales = Clarity + Enthusiasm + Divine Timing

Turns out the little girl with the hairbrush microphone was already practicing.

The Boardroom Within ™: Make Your Hardest Decisions With Clarity and Confidence

Today's leaders aren't short on information. They're drowning in it, and AI is multiplying their options by the day. Yet the decisions that matter most still stall. They get revisited, second-guessed, and carried into the middle of the night. The problem is rarely a knowledge gap. It's a missing perspective.

In this energizing, immediately applicable program, Theresa Rose, CSP® reveals The Boardroom Within™, the idea that every leader already holds a full inner executive team, six distinct perspectives that every sound decision requires.

When one seat goes unheard, the decision feels heavier than it should and refuses to move. Theresa introduces the six voices, shows leaders how to spot the one that's missing, and hands them a fast, repeatable method to convene their inner board and decide with confidence.

Attendees don't just leave inspired. They leave with a practical decision-making tool they can use the moment they return to work, and a shared language their teams can use to move stuck decisions forward. Blending two decades of Fortune 100 leadership and executive coaching with a warm, memorable delivery, Theresa turns hesitation into clarity and clarity into action, which is exactly what it takes to be a catalyst for change.

Your audience will learn how to:

  • Recognize the six perspectives every strong decision requires, and identify which voice tends to dominate, and which goes silent, in their own thinking.

  • Diagnose why a decision has stalled, using a simple and repeatable set of questions.

  • Apply the framework to a real decision in the room and leave with it moving.

  • Use AI as a thinking partner to pressure-test decisions without outsourcing judgment.

  • Give their teams a shared language for making faster, clearer, more confident decisions.

Formats: Available as a keynote (45 to 90 minutes), an interactive breakout, or a hands-on workshop. Ideal for leadership conferences, association gatherings, corporate leadership programs, and women's leadership summits.
