For three decades, Demet Tuncer mastered the art and psychology of captivating audiences. As a two time Turkish Tony Award winner, Turkish voice of Disney's Princess "Tiana" and an international host, she built a nationally recognized career in Türkiye, captivating millions on screen and commanding global stages from the World Economic Forum gala in Davos to the FIFA World Cup and FIBA World Championship.
In 2016, following her husband’s job transfer, Tuncer moved with her husband and their four year old daughter to Portland, Oregon. The public identity she had spent decades building disappeared almost overnight. She went from national celebrity to, in her words, “a celebrity in a household of three.”
Her fame did not cross the Atlantic. Her charisma did.
In Portland, women began asking Tuncer to help them develop what they saw in her: the ability to captivate a room, create connection, earn trust and move people. Their requests confronted her with a question she had never needed to answer: How do you teach charisma?
Tuncer began reverse engineering what had become instinctive over a lifetime and had been tested across three decades of captivating millions on screen and commanding global stages. From that work, The Celebrity Charisma Code™ was born, a methodology for turning charisma from an abstract concept into a tangible, teachable and repeatable skill that can be developed, refined and mastered.
Today, Tuncer is a global keynote speaker and charismatic leadership strategist whose work spans Fortune 500 companies, government, deep tech and defense.

From National Celebrity to a Celebrity in a Household of Three
In 2016, I boarded a plane in Istanbul as a nationally recognized actress with two Turkish Tony Awards, decades of stage experience, and millions of people who knew my face and voice.
Twenty-three hours later, I landed in Portland, Oregon.
And just like that, I went from national celebrity to a celebrity in a household of three.
My husband, my four-year-old daughter, and me.
Well, at least TWO people still thought I was a big deal! (Most days.)
No red carpets. No standing ovations. No one recognizing me at the grocery store.
For the first time in decades, I was walking into rooms where nobody knew who I was, what I’d accomplished, or what I was capable of.
But something fascinating happened. People still noticed me. They listened. They connected. They remembered.
And eventually, after watching me captivate an audience, women started asking, “Can you teach us how you do THAT?”
That’s when something clicked.
My fame hadn’t crossed the Atlantic. My charisma had.
I hadn’t lost what made me captivating. I’d simply lost the recognition that came with it.
And for the first time, I could see the difference.
I began unpacking 30 years of performance experience, studying what made people connect, listen, and respond. That journey led me to create The Celebrity Charisma Code™, the framework I now use to train leaders, executives, and innovators across Fortune 500 companies, universities, and global accelerator programs and keynote around the world.
I didn’t set out to become a charismatic leadership strategist.
In many ways, I was called to become one.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something else:

Today, I don’t measure success by how many people recognize my face.
