Passion

I am definitely considered multi-passionate - and love that my business allows me time to pursue other interests:
- I love my city - I'm a tour guide for City Tours MKE in Milwaukee, WI
- I love kites - MKE is a great place to fly kites at the lakefront
- I love to laugh - and am a certified laughter yoga instructor and lead great team building events
- I love bubbles - like blowing bubbles - I have several bubble guns and wands to make huge bubbles. No one is unhappy when they see bubbles.
- I love to travel - whether traveling solo to New Zealand, traveling to teach summer school in Colombia, or just a jaunt to Europe or Jamaica, ask me to travel, and I generally say YES first and ask details later.

Best Story

We're so used to doing routine tasks on autopilot - even if they take 30 minutes a month (or week or day). It's time to asking of those routine tasks can be automated - not just for you right now - but for your own career development.
I had a consultation with a CFO of a small company. We were finalizing details for some Excel training. He mentioned that since it was the beginning of the month he always does downloads - and cleans them up. I asked him if he wanted to automate this process - and he explained that he was pretty close - he knows the exact steps he has to do every single month on all 3 reports and can get it done in about 30 minutes. This is my best case scenario.

Origin Story

My mom was an executive assistant, so everything in our house was in a Word document, Excel spreadsheet or Access database. My grandpa built computers, so we had a computer in the house very early on, and when I left for college in 1994, I had my own computer - not many did back then. I’ve always been technologically inclined. When I took my first real job, I was asked to put together budget projections and I created a spreadsheet with a bunch of variables. They’d never done that before - which is crazy because this was a 10,000 employee Global Management Consulting Firm. They asked me to train the other project managers on how to use my spreadsheet and adopted it as the standard for the organization. That was the kickstart to creating spreadsheets for organizations and training others to optimize them.
