Hope Carpenter, along with her husband Ron, Pastor Redemption Church. Redemption started in Greenville, South Carolina from 1991 until 2018 and grew to an international ministry. Redemption relocated its headquarters to San Jose, California in 2018. Ron and Hope have three grown children and five grandchildren. Hope holds an Associate of Arts degree in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a published author of two books, The Little Pink Book, and just released her second book, The Most Beautiful Disaster, on May 4, 2021.
When Hope is not helping her husband lead Redemption and spending time with her grands she travels all over the world doing missions: Pakistan, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Mexico, Vietnam, Cambodia and wherever the Lord sends her to do missions work under the umbrella of Hope for the Nations. Hope’s heart and passion is seeing people’s lives changed and transformed so that they can be everything God has created them to be. She loves to speak to churches, civic organizations, women's events, leadership events and schools.
She is passionate about helping others reach their potential and be everything that they were created to be.
Hope is very transparent with her life and literally lays it all on the table. Hope was abused and raped as a teenager and suffered many years, in silence. She tells about falling apart at 35 years old on a very public stage and then the beautiful restoration process. She encourages her listeners that no matter where you find yourself that you can begin again and that your next days are your best days.
Hope started in ministry in 1990, along with her husband Ron, with three people in a metal, warehouse. Today, the ministry is world-wide with over 20,000 members and television programs on Daystar, Hillsong, TBN. They have expanded to two campuses: one in San Jose, CA and one in Greenville, SC.
