Best Story

“Girls from Alexander, NY do not become CEO’s”…

That is a direct quote from my high school guidance counselor and typing teacher. That was the supporting message that I received as a young adult about my abilities to be a CEO…a leader within any organization that I wanted to grow within. Those words are deafening to any girl, but one with high expectations of what she wants to become. Did I mention those words were spoken to me from a female? Truth is, I buried these words and really hadn’t thought about them much until the past few years. However, as I’ve been focused on climbing the corporate ladder to obtain my high school goals, these have become the fuel to my career.
