My beginning as a restaurant owner was rocky and scary, but the ending was fantastic. Thanks to CURRY CHICKEN!

I remember being delighted by the number of people walking by our location to the adjacent train station, counting our sales even before we opened the doors. Easy marketing, I thought, but I couldn’t be more wrong.

Origin Story

Failure made me successful! I made one of the biggest mistakes many entrepreneurs make. You might think I knew better as an experienced CPA.

I quit my job prematurely and then decided to start a business to avoid getting another job. I thought I knew what I was doing, but like many new business owners, I was clueless. I ignored my income and expense numbers, made decisions on a whim, and paid a high price for those mistakes that could have ruined me financially. My savings were quickly diminishing, and I knew I had to do something fast, or I could lose more than my pride.

Once I accepted the reality that I did not know what I was doing, I got the help I needed and never looked back. That was 14 years ago, and many successes since.

This experience drove me to be who I am today. It also became the basis of my book, The Price of Fake Is Real - how to stop pretending & gain real business success.
