I love talking about the connection between communication, mindset, emotional intelligence, and performance. Most organizations try to solve problems with more tactics, more pressure, or more systems, but real transformation happens when people feel safe enough to communicate honestly, think differently, and lead with confidence.
I’m especially passionate about helping leaders understand the human side of performance. Whether it’s sales, education, innovation, or leadership, people perform better when trust, empathy, accountability, and communication are strong. I also love helping women recognize their value, use their voice confidently, and stop feeling like they have to earn a seat at the table through perfection.
One of the stories I often share is about my transition from chemist to sales leader. Early in my career, I walked into an international sales meeting and realized I was one of only a few women in the room and the only person of color. I remember questioning whether I truly belonged there and feeling pressure to constantly prove myself through performance.
For years, I believed success meant perfection. I worked harder, pushed harder, and tied my worth to results. Eventually, I became a top performer and moved into leadership, but I realized many high achievers around me were silently struggling with the same fear, burnout, and self-doubt.
That experience completely changed how I approached leadership and performance. I stopped focusing only on skills and started helping organizations understand how mindset, communication, emotional safety, and belief directly impact collaboration, innovation, and results. That realization became the foundation for the work I do today.
My journey started in science, not sales. I was a chemist by background and originally believed my career path would stay within STEM. But after transitioning into sales, I quickly realized success was not just about technical knowledge. It was about communication, emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to connect with people under pressure.
As I advanced into leadership, I noticed a pattern across teams and organizations. Most performance problems were not actually skill problems. People were struggling with fear, burnout, communication breakdowns, self-doubt, and environments where they did not feel safe speaking honestly or asking questions.
That realization led me to found Transformed Sales. I wanted to help organizations improve performance by addressing the deeper behavioral and mindset challenges underneath the surface. Today, my work focuses on helping leaders build stronger communication, healthier cultures, greater accountability, and more sustainable performance by focusing on people first.
Most organizations try to solve performance problems with more tactics, more pressure, or more training. But the real issue often lives beneath the surface. Communication breakdowns, fear of failure, burnout, low trust, and limiting beliefs quietly impact leadership, collaboration, innovation, and results.
