Mel C, founder of Cloversy, an Executive Virtual Assistant Agency, as well as the Six-Figure Chicks book series and Her Write to Rise, a nonprofit empowering women through writing and mentorship.
I’m passionate about helping women share their stories, build thriving careers, and create impactful connections.
What started as a book series quickly became a movement—a nationwide platform for six-figure earning women to amplify their voice, elevate their brand, and create a legacy through the power of storytelling.
This isn’t just about being in a book. It’s about being seen. It’s about rising—and reaching back to lift the next generation with you. Every chapter written becomes a tool for impact. Every author becomes part of a growing sisterhood that’s mentoring young women and changing the narrative of what success looks like.
My first business: Cloversy, an executive virtual assistant agency. It was born out of my passion to support other entrepreneurs and provide women across the country with meaningful work, flexibility, and freedom. It was the beginning of a new chapter—and I haven’t looked back.
From Cloversy, another idea emerged: Six-Figure Chicks. What began as a single book evolved into a book series, a movement. A platform. A community of women who have decided they are no longer shrinking to fit inside someone else’s version of success. Women who have overcome heartbreak, setbacks, rejection, and fear—and who have chosen to rise anyway.
Six-Figure Chicks isn’t just about money, though yes—these are women making $100,000 or more in their businesses or careers. It’s about sharing the real, unfiltered stories behind that success. The doubts. The grit. The growth. The breakdowns and breakthroughs.
These stories are meant to remind you that no matter how far behind you feel, how uncertain your path looks, or how many mistakes you've made—you can rewrite your story. You can rise. You can become the woman you were always meant to be.
I didn’t set out to build a movement.
I just knew what it felt like to be underestimated—while quietly doing big things behind the scenes. I was running a successful Executive Virtual Assistant agency, Cloversy, helping business owners organize their chaos and grow—but I kept seeing something missing, especially for women: visibility.
That “aha” moment hit me in a client conversation. She said, “I’ve built a six-figure business, but no one knows who I am.”
It stopped me. Because I realized—I’d been there, too.
That was the spark for Six-Figure Chicks. What started as a one-time book idea became a platform, a publishing powerhouse, and now a national movement. I realized that storytelling was the bridge between being good at what you do... and being known for it.
Today, I don’t just help women manage their business—I help them amplify their voice, publish their story, and build legacy. And every woman who rises in this movement? She lights the path for the next one.
Most women in business are sitting on the most powerful marketing asset they own and calling it a liability. The story they've been editing, softening, and deciding isn't "professional enough" is the exact thing their ideal client needs to hear.
Mel C shows women entrepreneurs how the experience they've been most ashamed of is what builds the deepest trust, attracts the right clients, and sets them apart in a crowded market.
Drawing from her own story and her work through Six Figure Chicks, she makes the case that shame shared strategically isn't vulnerability for vulnerability's sake. It's a business strategy.
In a world where every business has a website, a social media presence, and an elevator pitch, the ones that actually get remembered are the ones with a story. Not a tagline. Not a mission statement. A real, human story that makes people feel something.
Mel C shows business owners how strategic storytelling transforms a brand from forgettable to magnetic. This isn't about being a good writer or having a dramatic backstory. It's about knowing which parts of your story to share, when to share them, and how to build them into every touchpoint of your brand so your ideal client feels like they already know you before you ever meet.
Most women with real expertise are the best-kept secret in their industry. They're doing incredible work, getting great results for clients, and still struggling to be seen as the go-to in their space.
Mel C breaks down the difference between being an expert and being an authority and why that gap is costing women entrepreneurs opportunities, income, and impact. She shows exactly how to build the visibility that leads to stages, media, partnerships, and clients who already trust you before you ever speak.
Drawing from her work helping women publish their stories and build their platforms through Six Figure Chicks, this talk gives women a clear path from invisible to undeniable.
Attendees walk away with:
The three moves that shift you from expert to recognized authority, why most visibility strategies keep women small and what to do instead, and a concrete first step toward building a platform that attracts opportunity instead of chasing it.
