Biography

I'm a coach and consultant specializing in workplace "soft skills" who has worked with teams, organizations, and individuals to improve. I’m a certified Strengths coach whose specialty is helping people get through times of change – and make changes of their own. I coach individuals, couples, and teams using a Strengths-based approach that encourages people to build on what they’re good at and enjoy, rather than trying to become someone they’re not. I have delivered workshops on a variety of topics, including culture, communication, employee engagement, building influence, and management.
I have worked with US government organizations, private companies of all sizes, classrooms and academic institutions, and unaffiliated human beings to improve themselves and their groups. From the White House Situation Room to your local library’s children’s section to the C-suite to the labor and delivery unit: whoever you are, whatever your circumstances, things can improve and I can help you get there.

Passion

CHANGE is my passion. Whether someone is seeking change or change has happened to them, moments of change in even one aspect of work or life are powerful times when everything is on the table and large-scale improvement is possible. I love working with people and organizations that are curious and excited about new information and perspectives.

Best Story

I have hundreds of story in my repertoire and I like to choose the best one for each situation and need - but I can talk about parenthood, my work in the Situation Room, childhood cancer, Strengths, culture, communication, diversity and inclusion, ADHD, and pop culture.

Origin Story

Throughout my varied career, I've enjoyed talking to, teaching, and learning from people. I light up when I can get a group motivated and engaging. I love to bring people into a discussion and I'm looking for more opportunities to help people connect with ideas.
