Passion

My passion is to help women leaders overcome the barriers to their personal and professional success...the kind of support I wish I had when I was in corporate leadership. I see myself in my clients...overworking and hyper-achieving...all in the hopes of proving their value to the organization. I want to help them stop DOING and start BEING the leader they're meant to be, in ALL areas of their lives.

Best Story

Jane was a VP of Finance and initially came to me feeling tired and burned out; her team was small and it wasn't unusual for Jane to pitch in with some of the day-to-day work. Over time, she was starting to feel the effects of 'pitching in,' working long hours AND frustration with her team's overall performance.

Jane wanted each team member to take responsibility for their contribution to the team's success AND to hold themselves accountable for their results. As we talked more about accountability, Jane could see how SHE might be standing in the way of that actually happening. At one point, she received feedback that she needed to stop 'mothering' her team. This was a wake-up call for Jane.

Jane had a strong core belief that in order for her team to be successful, she needed to be involved and available to 'help' them. Some of the words others used to describe Jane include 'nice' and 'helpful.' Unfortunately, if overused, Jane could see how being TOO nice and TOO helpful were actually getting in the way of her holding her team accountable for their results.

What are the attributes she WANTS others to use to describe her? Over time, Jane has worked hard to explore her personal brand, including her values and strengths, and how she expresses that brand through her leadership. This work has increased her leadership confidence exponentially.

Since starting to working together, Jane has been promoted to CFO! We continue to work together to explore how she uniquely contributes to the Executive team through her leadership brand.

Origin Story

My corporate background is in Learning and Development, and as I grew in that career, I realized how valuable coaching was to moving from learning (information) to actual development (integration). As a woman leader, I could also see how I was standing in my own way to advancement, and at that time, coaching wasn't available to leaders outside the C-Suite. As a Leadership Coach who wants to help women leaders become the INTENTIONAL leaders they are meant to be in ALL areas of their lives, my coaching fills that gap.
