Reem received a dual Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health from Boston University. Leveraging her background in social work, Reem transitioned to the consulting field, where she provided intercultural training and consulting services to a diverse clientele including non-profit and for-profit businesses, healthcare organizations, and municipalities. Reem has published several articles centered around workplace development and company culture and is a well-known public speaker.

I was once training a stiff group of employees at a mandated training on Effective Communication (there had been a lot of challenges with team dynamics and difficult people.) Needless to say no one was happy to be there (except me!) and so I needed to make a quick pivot. I could feel the dread as I was introducing myself. With both a live audience and virtual I decided to risk it and start with some dead pan wit, " I wore black so I could look thin on camera..." The joke was I was 9 months pregnant. It broke the ice!
Life is about transitions personally and professionally. I started out as a clinical social worker who also trained hospital staff on intercultural communication. From there I went on to work for an EAP as a Training and Development Director and found my voice. As a founder, you have to constantly pivot, take risks, and sometimes move forward with not everything clear - the aha moment is enjoy the ride - sounds cliche but you never know who you are going to meet or where it's going to lead you. Most importantly try to learn something from everyone you meet.
