I am an insurance go-to-market and transformation strategist with a unique blend of almost forty years of industry knowledge, digital expertise, change management, and entrepreneurial spirit to help insurers and solution providers navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the insurance industry. I offer a differentiating combination of extensive experience in the global insurance industry, expertise in insurance digital transformation consulting, and a proven track record of driving growth and creating brand awareness for an AI startup. I provide a wealth of knowledge across all lines of business spanning the insurance lifecycle, including claims, product, underwriting, loss prevention, managed care, call center, and shared services.

I am passionate about helping people understand the value of both what they know and what they do. My goal is to foster an empowered, continuous improvement culture where people are empowered to find their next level of capability and often new areas that energize them. I am a problem-solver and enjoy the discovery process to evolve from the want to the need, then from the need to the solution.

Best Story

I was leading a department through the implementation of a business plan, which changed all aspects of how we were organized and much of how we operated. I was focused on both transparency and communication in terms of not just what we were doing but also why. I knew it was going to be a success when, early on, my teams asked to accelerate an already ambitious timeline because they believed in the destination and wanted to get there even faster.

Origin Story

My professional journey has been all about keeping an open mind to my next opportunity, including roles that didn't previously exist or fell well outside my existing areas of expertise. While I spent much of my career within one company, it was evolving (and growing) as the world was changing. My internal brand became the leader who could successfully pivot to successfully tackle the new if not completely undefined, being it from a technology, workflow or organization perspective.
