Biography

Leveraging her 20 years of experience as a change consultant, Cassie currently works with clients to prepare for the impacts of the 4th Industrial Revolution. For example, many businesses today are faced with implementing new technology and becoming “digital first” but in order to make that new technology productive there are systemic changes that must be made and the workforce must be ready to change.
She became a certified futurist and developed resources to help leaders create agile strategies, understand what is coming, how fast it is coming and how to successfully futureproof their organizations. Building on the model in her book, “Leading Successful Change” (Wharton School Press, 2nd Edition due out February 2020) she helps leaders design the “complementary innovations” that need to accompany the introduction of new technology , so it can be truly transformational.

Passion

Helping organizations create strategies and the change initiatives that support them in order to thrive in an era of disruptive change. For this, I love creating learning communities that transform culture and develop the workforce's willingness to adopt new technology and embrace change. I am also passionate about "busting silos" -- creating high performance teams that work cheerfully together across department or company boundaries. These partnerships will be critical to meeting the challenge of the new decade.

Best Story

I've spent the past 3 years working with clients to understand artificial intelligence and other disruptive technologies, in health care, financial services and manufacturing. As a change consultant for the past 20 years, I see that the speed and level of disruption of the 4th industrial revolution are going to be extraordinary. This past summer, I taught a national group of banking regulators to see what is coming, in a barn with no wifi and following a buffalo stampede!

Origin Story

My MBA from Wharton is in Operations, I spent 15 years with a boutique consulting firm in Philadelphia, and then 12 years ago I went out on my own and created my own firm. Since then, I co-authored a book, "Leading Successful Change" with Wharton School Press; the revised version will be published in February, 2020. I continue to teach executives in Wharton's Executive Education program, and I have helped cross-functional teams across the globe. (Stories about international teams in Doha are a favorite!)
