More than 100 miles
I generally get paid for speaking but make exceptions
In today's increasingly complex, digital, data-driven (and now virtual & remote!) world, the ability to engage, communicate and collaborate visually -- from napkin sketches to online whiteboards -- is a uniquely human superpower that can bridge many gaps, physical, interpersonal, and cognitive.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to use the language of simple drawings to:
• explain and simplify complex ideas and processes
• skyrocket engagement and connection, and blast through Zoom fatigue
• foster collaboration, mutual understanding and respect in teams
• gain consensus, buy-in. and commitment to action
• create a culture of ownership
• captivate and engage any audience, in-person or virtual - even if you think you can't draw your way out of a wet paper bag!
Participants will receive a handout with sample hand-drawn templates for various problem-solving models that can be used during the session and in the future.
Learners who think they "can't draw a stick figure" unlock their innate ability to communicate visually so they can:
• Express a range of emotions
• Access a rich visual vocabulary comprised of simple shapes and symbols that anyone can create
• Tell a story, frame a problem and ideate a solution in pictures, alone and as a team
