Passion

Personally, being outdoors in the mountains is my happy place, but my kids are the thing that always brings a smile to my face. Professionally, I love to find the truth that is hiding beneath the emotionally charged reports from employees, and to bring a level head and impartial view to all investigations. It is the most gratifying feeling to make employees feel heard and also minimize the risk felt by companies that have complaints lodged against them.

Origin Story

A midwesterner who became a New Englander, I grew up appreciating travel, people, and the outdoors. After college in Wisconsin, I lived and worked in Chicago waiting tables which gave me the opportunity to meet an amazing array of people, and to travel the world. I went to law school in Chicago and started my career there, relocating to Boston in 2006. Since then I have acted as a counselor and litigator in a variety of commercial contexts, and currently work as a workplace investigator, consultant and expert in employee disputes, with a specialty in investigations into harassment, discrimination and retaliation.
