Hi! I'm Julie Quinne, the Uncommon Leadership Strategist!
As an expert in leadership and motivation, I deliver powerful programs, energizing talks, and practical tools to help individuals and teams grow their business, grow their impact and get their To Do lists in line with their goals.
I graduated from UMAss, Amherst with a BA in Interpersonal Communication and Rhetoric (Don't be afraid - it just means I know how to communicate with persuasion and who doesn't want that in a speaker, am I right?). Encouraged by my ambitious mother, I went on to earn a Masters in Management from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA (where I was awarded a certificate of excellence in management research 🔎🎉) and I've held executive leadership positions in various industries and in international settings for over 20 years. I started Uncommon Consulting, LLC as a consulting, training, and facilitation company in 2009 on the eve of the financial crisis 😳. I then rebooted the business to add courses and coaching in 2020 on the eve of the pandemic 😳. Defying all odds (given my awesome timing both times), I have been successful at helping hundreds of leaders get laser focused on the implementation of their strategies goals. I draw from highly effective methodologies like the Uncommon Leadership Framework™, Motivation Factor™, LEGO® Serious Play, and the Verdant Resiliency™ Framework and can virtually guarantee an energizing, inspiring, informative talk or program for your group.
I would love to learn more about you and your goals!
My passion is being an awesome mom to the three astounding humans I get to call my children. I'm also driven to eliminate suffering at work and in life. As an executive in charge of leadership development and major organizational change for over 20 years, I've learned this: When people are energized and focused, they feel better, the people around them feel better, organizations operate better, and the world changes a little for the better too.
When you wake up in your car, in the middle of an intersection, with horns blaring at you, you experience some seriously mixed emotions. I know this, because it happened to me! I was a successful executive with a never-ending to do list, and a job that was sucking the life out of me; I was literally falling asleep at stop lights. Now I am rested, energized, focused, and successful with time to build the work and life I've always wanted. If you'd like to know how, give me a call!

- Where to find more time and the one thing that’s stopping you from getting it.
- What brain science can tell us about energy and focus and how we can apply it.
- How to determine where others are getting in your way to how to address that.
- Where your motivation factors fit into the bigger picture.
- What is enough and how you can end your days feeling accomplished.
Strategic leadership takes vision, courage and accountability – in work and in life. I’ve excelled by taking bold strategic approaches to work and making bold moves in support of my own wellbeing and life purpose.
In this talk I inspire leaders to connect people with purpose and to hold themselves and others accountable for achieving worthwhile goals and exceeding wildest dreams. I introduce a model for ensuring employees at all levels are engaged and motivated to achieve organizational objectives with decades of management theory, communication practices and motivation methodology distilled into one cohesive framework. Participants gain a roadmap for achieving greater alignment and delivering measurable success.
Struggling with engagement survey results, net promoter scores and inclusion metrics? You might be missing a piece of the puzzle! In this webinar we explore new research on what makes up individual engagement, how neuroscience and individual accountability contributes to the big picture and the role Human Resources can play to start moving the needle to achieve more impact.
Participants will discover where individual engagement really lives and how to free it; how to tap into 45% more motivation and why current organizational engagement initiatives don't perform as well as expected. We'll discuss the employee’s role in their own engagement equation and how to increase - and ensure - that personal accountability. Participants will also receive a guide for applying these concepts right away in their own organizations.
