Debbie is a speaker, panelist, coach, and workshop facilitator. Her company is focused on creating power, confidence, and a little bit of badass for her clients who are primarily corporate teams, and professional women and other industry groups. She's a certified transformational mindset coach, former fitness instructor and black belt in Shotokan karate.
Her 30 years in fitness instruction and martial arts have given Debbie a unique perspective on the mind/body connection and how to use it as a power source. She works with and speaks to groups about harnessing this power to create confidence, energy, and success in their business and personal lives.
Besides her signature talk, "Slay Your Mental Bully" Debbie loves facilitating unique breakout workshops which involve mental empowerment exercises as well as physical activity. This may include basic self-defense awareness skills and/or board breaking events to amplify the mindset principles she’s presenting.
I love to be interactive with an audience. I especially love bringing some physical activity into what we do. Whether that is a quick moment of grounding and centering themselves when we begin or the powerful SNAP of breaking through a board, (my signature program, BREAKTHROUGHS), these moments are great for engaging them in the session.
If I can somehow make them laugh a bit and/or have a moment of transformation, even better. I especially love creating breakout sessions that bring the physical energy into the equation and change the emotional state of participants. Showing them how very powerful they are and seeing their reaction when they break a board, learn a skill or hear something that is life changing completely lights me up

During the pandemic I was hired to do a virtual keynote for the women's Employee Resource Group at a large airline.
At the end of the presentation I received many comments of appreciation in the chat, but one that was sent to me privately really stood out. She wrote "Helpful and timely, as I thought I needed to quit my job this morning due to my inabilities!"
The fact that my presentation helped this woman recognize her power and capabilities is the reason I love what I do
One day I found myself to be in an abusive relationship. Not with a spouse or partner as you might think, but with myself. I had been standing in front of the bathroom mirror berating just about every part of my image. An epiphany happened when I suddenly imagined my then teenage daughter's face if I spoke to her the way I was speaking to myself and felt a gut punch. In this moment I decided it was time to change my negative, self sabotaging thoughts and language and realized the value of helping others do the same. I became certified as a transformational mindset coach and eventually started my current business focusing on women's empowerment initiatives.
