Best Story

When I learned that I could change my thoughts to create my own reality. Looking at my subconscious mind and rewinding it to stop the pain and suffering in my life. Once I understood that if I change my thinking, I can change the way I feel and I could change my behavior… I could become the person I actually wanted to be.

Origin Story

I was born in Jamaica W.I. and grew up in a house with many of my extended family members. My parents, me and my four siblings share one bedroom in my grandparents house. I did not have access to school in my neighborhood in Jamaica therefore, I had to travel miles to get to school. If I missed the 5am market truck that took fruits and vegetables to the Kingston Market, I would have to walk to school before the sun came up or stay home and work in my father’s shop. I came to the USA at the age of 14yrs old and live in Brooklyn NY with my single mother and four siblings in a two bedroom government assistance apartment that was above a bodega in one of Brooklyn's worst neighborhoods.

I suffered form abused and trauma as a child and due to those experiences, I had a very negative self Image being a black lesbian woman living in a America Therefore, I worked very hard to get an education, my drive to be well educated came from my low self-esteem, and fear that no one would love me unless I was smart. I did not feel I was good enough until I finally looked at my daughter and realized that my thinking would affect the way that I was raising her. I did not want her to grow up the way I did, I want her to love who she is and do the things that bring her joy.

A year ago, after receiving coaching and doing the work on myself to overcome fear, worry and procrastination, I realized that I was not living my dream and not inspired to continue working in the education space.

Throughout the coaching process, I discovered that the universe had a different plan for me. I discovered that I needed to change my career from being a vice principal in a public school to become a Life Coach and Speaker. I now help people get unstuck using Bob Proctor's teachings.

I am a wife to Kirsten Kotraba, and a mother to 6yrs old twins Manya and Cyrus. My son Cyrus has severe medical, special needs and uses a wheelchair. I love my family very much and I want to show up for them being my best self.
