I am on a mission to help as many people as possible find meaningful, fulfilling, and satisfying work. We spend more time at work than we do with our families, sleeping, or other high-priority areas of our lives. And yet, the research shows that more than 60% of the workforce feels disengaged from their work. I want to do my part to change that statistic, not only to help individuals be happier at work but also to influence the resulting positive impact they can have on the lives of the people they touch.

I generally get paid for speaking but make exceptions
I always enjoy hearing from former clients, and client companies about how they implemented a practice that we worked on while we were coaching. They usually reflect back on our work together and share how our work influenced their ability to take positive, proactive approaches enabling them to be more effective in accomplishing their goals. They feel empowered and better equipped to take on new challenges and engage strategies confidently, enabling them to grow and flourish.
My career began in the field of community mental health. From there, I pivoted into the public policy and government arenas as I wanted to see how decisions and policies were made. I saw how people and programs were affected by those policies and needed to understand how things worked systemically. That journey propelled me into the world of politics as I was working for an elected official. It was both an exciting and disturbing 4 years. During that period, I also had the opportunity to earn my MBA. I decided to study business because I had seen many great organizations fail because their leaders were content or technical experts but did not possess the management skills to run an organization. Equipped with several years of grant writing experience from my government and policy work, I established a consulting business combining fundraising and organizational development services for nonprofit organizations. I was also employed part-time for several years as a higher education administrator so that I could maintain a financial foundation while I built my consulting business. After years of this blended approach, I realized that fundraising was not my life's work. I wanted to return to working more directly with people again. I began exploring my options, and a friend mentioned a new field to me: Life Coaching. I investigated it, and it quickly became clear to me that coaching was "it" for me. I found an accredited coach training program and got my certification as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach within a year. I have built a thriving executive and career coaching practice for the past 20+ years that has expanded to include speaking, podcast hosting, group facilitation, organizational development, team development, and writing. I published my first book in January 2022.
