Biography

Amy Goober is a Global Director and Certified Health Coach with Optavia - an international health and wellness initiative with the goal of helping others transform their lives. She provides a program to assist people to learn the habits of health, to reach a healthy weight and learn the lifestyle necessary to maintain their weight and good health. Amy has a B.S. in psychology from Cornell University. She has reached the level of Global Director, one of only 2% of all health Coaches at Optavia. She leads, supervises and mentors a team of 75 coaches. She is a C.O.P.E. Certified Health Coach. Her new company Drive Your Life TM empowers women to get in the driver's seat of their lives by making positive changes using her 5 step system to get into action. She is completing her book Drive Your Life and is providing a group coaching platform as well.

Passion

My passion is helping others improve their lives with support, education and knowledge. Everyone has the power to create the life they want, and with consistency and persistence goals can be achieved. I support others with their personal goals and strive to empower them to give themselves the lives they desire and deserve.

Origin Story

I was an overweight teenager, and I have struggled most of my adult life (I am 60 now) with weight. I found an amazing program seven years ago and reached my goal weight. My husband and I lost 50 pounds combined, and I knew I had to share what we had discovered. Since then I have coached over 600 clients and mentored 100 coaches. I speak about Healthy Habits and how everyone can incorporate small changes over time to improve health and well-being. I also train on leadership with a concept called Living Above the Line which can be used in the workplace and at home to improve interpersonal relationships. Everyone can use this concept to discover how to create improved communication for individual and group interactions. My passion is now being translated into my new company Drive Your Life TM which empowers women to be the change they want to see in their own lives by following a 5 step program I developed to help them get into action. I'm excited to share this process via speaking engagements, my group coaching platform and my book when it's published called Drive Your Life TM.

Empowering women to get into the driver’s seat of their own lives, this interactive talk showcases the relatability and audience connection to speaker, Amy Goober as she motivates attendees to get into the driver’s seat of their own lives. Audiences will learn about and test drive the Drive Your Life ™ system for creating positive change. Via Amy’s 5 step process and acronym Drive, Realize, Imagine, Voice, and Energize each person in the room will learn how to improve one aspect of her life. Through interesting exercises and engaging activities, Amy shares this dependable process by both teaching and demonstrating it. Each attendee will leave with the confidence necessary to take the first step to ‘drive’ her life starting that very day.
