Biography

Enna is a distinguished Change Champion with an illustrious career spanning over 30 years across various industries, specializing in Leadership, Technology, and Transformation Management. Currently serving as the Business Transformation Leader at IDEMIA, a renowned augmented identity security organization. Enna also shines as a devoted Coach, Mentor, and advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, talent engagement, and community initiatives. Enna's remarkable achievements include receiving accolades such as the inaugural Amplify Latinx ALX100 Honoree, Involve ‘Heroes’ as an Executive Role Model in 2023 & 2022, Women of ALPFA 2022 award, the Hispanic Lifestyle 2022 Latinas of Influence award, and the 2022 Alumnae Service Award from Simmons University. She is celebrated as one of the ALPFA Latinas to Watch for two consecutive years and is a Co-Author of the empowering book "Extraordinary Latinas: Powerful Voices of Resilience, Courage & Empowerment." Enna's commitment to progress is highlighted through her roles as a Presidential Adviser for Alumni Engagement at Simmons University and her active participation in influential organizations like the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Advisory Board, The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts, The Pathway Initiative (TPI), and the ALPFA National Board of Directors. Her outstanding contributions have earned her recognition as one of the Hispanic Stars Rising in the book "A New Face of Power," a Black and Brown Innovator of Action Honoree, and a recipient of the National Latino Leader Award, as well as a Citation for Leadership and Excellence from MA Governor Charlie Baker.

The March edition of Hispanic Executive magazine featured Enna as one of the 2021 Leading Latinas. Enna received the Emerging Leaders in Technology and Engineering (E.L.I.T.E.) Award from the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Boston Professionals. Enna is a Past President of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) Boston Chapter, a nationally recognized Latino organization whose mission is to empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation. Through Enna’s leadership, ALPFA Boston Chapter received the 2018 Leader Chapter of the Year Award and more than tripled their corporate partnerships. Enna was featured in Lean In Women of Color Latinas Equal Pay Day Commemoration Project in 2020 and 2018. For two consecutive years, 2017 and 2016, Enna was named as one of the 100 Most Influential Leaders for the Latino community in MA by El Planeta Newspaper, and she was the recipient of the Year Up Outstanding Manager Award in January 2014.

Best Story

I talk about being a women in a predominantly white male space in IT during my early career and persevering. I share stories about speaking up in meetings, taking a seat at the table even when I'm not invited. One story that has received a lot of recognition is how I worked myself out of a job while working at my dream company. I walk through my experience of realizing that I had created the best team and I had to figure out my next steps. I share how the company helped me during that transition and the bitter-sweet feelings of leaving a company I loved so much.

Origin Story

I was born in Puerto Rico, Boston-raised from Dominican parents. I understand and lived through parents who fought their way through to be entrepreneurs and providing opportunities for their kids. I have a vast amount of experience working in 503c boards, non-profits and Board of Trustees. I have worked in many industries and have a vast amount of experience in Software Development, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Customer Experience.
