Small’s work centers on sharing her knowledge, wisdom, and experience, through coaching and by teaching strategies and best practices to position women for success.
Dr. Small is the founder and CEO of Capital Conscious U, a leadership development firm focused on helping career and entrepreneur women find and align their purpose with their work and business. Holding the firm belief that learning never ends, over the course of her career she has continued her education obtaining several credentials that have helped her become a better leader and coach. Dr. Small is a Certified Purpose Leader (CPL), Certified Human Capital Strategist (HCS) and certified professional coach (CPC) with specialties in life, leadership, career, and executive coaching. Dr. Small holds a doctorate in Human Capital Management with a research emphasis on women of color and leadership.

Through her work as a member, speaker and volunteer with organizations such as the Wonder Women Tech, Executive Women’s Forum, Women/Future, Avengrid WomEnerfy, United Nations Association Southern NY State Division Young Professionals, Black Women of Influence, The Black Girl Project, the Black Doctoral Networks and the International Association of Women, she has broadened her span of scope to impact the lives of women across the globe.
