Passion

Full-time strategist and part-time fitness enthusiast with a passion for traveling, a love for baking and a desire to constantly challenge myself personally and professionally.

Origin Story

Freshman year of college, I took a marketing class and found it fascinating. The professor started every class with a fun fact about marketing – like how the woman who designed the Nike swoosh logo only got paid $35 and now it’s one of the most valuable brands estimated at more than $13 billion. Prior to this class, I never knew what marketing was and I definitely didn’t know you could make a career of it.

I continued taking marketing classes and loved them but didn’t know what that meant in terms of a career. In one of our advisee meetings I told Professor Amantea that I loved marketing but I didn’t want to design anything – I am not a creative type. Instead I wanted to be the person that stands in front of the room and presents the ideas. She looked at me and said “you want to be an account executive”.

Example Talks

From Buzz to Business Case: How to begin implementing Personalization for your customers.

Personalization is top of mind for marketers and top of bylines for publications, yet few understand how to achieve it.

Marketers understand the importance of customer journey maps and the benefit of targeted messaging. But achieving personalization seems overwhelming with too many barriers (lack of technology, data or resources).

In this session we’ll breakdown Personalization and show how easy it is to start implementing. By starting small you can begin collecting relevant data to optimize your strategy and build a business case for the support and technology you need to apply personalize across all your channels.
