Passion

I accelerate career moves by aiding busy professionals in positioning their value & impact to stand out. I support them in becoming clear, concise, & confident in answering “why me” online, on paper, & in person.

Best Story

Why and how I founded the GREAT MINDS program and the Alliance of Technology and Women - seeing the need to bring change, encouragement, and empowerment to girls and women to pursue careers in tech. I would start with my story of growing up not having many role models, and seeing few peers at Harvard in the same boat (only 10% of students studying computer science were women in the late 90s).

Origin Story

In change and crisis lies opportunity.

March 2020 - made it 70% of the way to our ski destination and learned the mountain shut down. Made it back home then the next day on Monday March 18th I called my financial advisor. "Put whatever I have laying around to work in the market." I said. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Home Depot.

I had learned over 20 years that it wasn't luck but about being ready with the means to strike when an opportunity presents itself. And that is what I can do for you personally or your business.

And so I've been chipping away at my own business for 4 years. But not all in. Not focused.

And so COVID hit and created a six-month "spring break" where life slowed down. Hibernation ensued. But it got me thinking and realizing that it was time to reset and focus. I was reminding myself
- What got me here won't get me there
- The definition of insanity
- That I've moved far away from what I am passionate about, my purpose
- Why am I waiting to do what I want to do for a magical retirement age

And so I'm all in now - speaking on, coaching, and advising individuals and business leaders on how to build agility into their work so they can strike when an opportunity presents itself.

Think about the last time you introduced yourself to someone... how did it feel? Were you clear and confident in your message or fumbling for the right words to introduce yourself? Or did you ramble for 5 minutes?

Do you want to gain clarity on what your personal brand promise is and how to confidently deliver it so your new connection clearly understands what you do, for who, and the value you provide?

Come to my session to learn how to make the intangible value you provide tangible to someone else so you are MEMORABLE!

Career Breakthrough: 3 Steps in 90 Days to Reach Your 5 Year Goals

In this impact-filled workshop, you’ll be able to have time to reflect on what the next five years look like for you, share any challenges that you may be feeling or may foresee that may be stopping you from reaching that goal, and what you can do immediately to make progress.

The Why: Why do we often get in our own way of success? Granted as we grow in our careers we find it harder to find role models or mentors who are where we want to be, but why should we let this stop us from dreaming big and getting where we want in our tech careers? This session is a start to how we can come together to lift each other up, get clarity on what we want, and accelerate breaking through our limiting beliefs to make personal progress.

3 Key takeaways: (1) Clarity on what you want to achieve and why over the next 5 years (2) Acknowledge 2-3 challenges that may get in your way and what you are going to do to break through them (3) Have defined 3 actions you are going to take in the next 90 days to make progress towards achieving your 5-year goals.

This session is for you if… you are ready to push yourself to dream big; motivated to challenge your thinking, beliefs, actions and habits to grow and change; and willing to stretch yourself to succeed.

What is your customer journey and how do you understand it better?

How this will accelerate your progress and save you time and money as a founder!

Advancing My Career - Where Do I Even Begin?

We all hit walls at some point with where one is in our careers. Once one realizes they are in the wrong place most

- Are unsure of where to start and how to get there
- Are not clear about what they want
- Try to spam job applications with generic resumes and wonder why they are not getting interviews
- Fail to prepare for interviews
- Neglect re-connecting with their network
- Have imposter syndrome and don't believe they are capable of what they really want
- Are afraid they will need to cut their compensation

and so much more.

If this sounds like you join me at this session where I will help you gain the insight and confidence you need to get started.
