Biography

Rebecca is a “Workplace Crusader”, helping organizations transform outdated or non-scalable practices into future-thinking, market-leading cultures where their people can thrive. She’s on a mission to make organizations better places to work so that all of us can do work that matters and play to our strengths all while meeting the organization’s goals. Rebecca is an experienced consultant in the field of organizational transformation, change management and innovation. Her 20+ years of experience spans both large-scale, global projects to small, independent, one-on-one coaching relationships, working with clients such as Apple, UPS and P&G. Beyond consulting she’s an expert facilitator, coach, and innovator. Rebecca is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of FutureLeaderNow and CEO and Founder of 12@12 Women’s Network and Rodskog Change Consulting.

Rebecca's career has carried her from executive business suites at Pfizer, Procter and Gamble and Accenture, to the hallowed halls of Columbia University where she's listed as one of the top 10 recommended MBA leadership coaches by their Program on Social Intelligence. Her passion for aligning culture to increased productivity led her to ?What If!, a global innovation consultancy where, as Director of Culture and Capability in their Transformation practice, she advised organizations such as Google, Genetech, Sanofi, and Johnson & Johnson on fostering innovation and creating winning cultures. She built foundational skills and methodologies while working as a Manager in Accenture’s Change Management Practice, and expanded those competencies as the VP of People at a Fintech company, collaborating with niche change management consulting companies and consulting independently. She also founded her own coaching practice where her focus is on helping working parents thrive.

Combining the practical skills of a change management professional with the expansive, future-forward perspective of an innovation practitioner, Rebecca is well placed to help organizations understand not just where they need to go, but how to do it. She's worked with everyone from CEO's to solopreneurs, at all levels of the organization, and on all sides of the employment dynamic. As an expert communicator she's able to distill those perspectives into inspiring guideposts that anyone can find useful. Additionally, as a working mom, Rebecca is able to provide a personal perspective about the workplace and what the future of work needs to look like to help working parents thrive.

Rebecca has literally spoken in front of thousands of people over the course of her career. In the last year, her speaking has taken her from corporate (Samsung, P&G, Mazda, Cisco) to academic (Columbia, NYU, Babson), to non-profits (MBA CSEA, NAWBO) and Conferences (Society for Information Management, NCHRA, National Wellness Conference). She regularly speaks on the topics of Culture, Future of Work, Change Management, Innovation and Creativity, Leadership and Transformation.

Passion

I believe, down to my core, that work should not suck. And we have the power, each and everyone of us, to influence our workplaces and the people around us to make work better, every day.
