Biography

I write for badass women.

Some built powerhouse companies from scratch. Some created businesses that changed lives. Most took big risks when everyone told them they were crazy. They’ve broken barriers of gender, culture, and systems. They’ve survived the unimaginable.

All of them landed on their feet, took off running, and never looked back.

All of them are my superheroes.

Their stories deserve to be told with the same ferocity with which they’ve lived them. That’s where I come in — the Story Architect.

I gave myself that title early on because I do more than just listen, more than just write. By immersing myself in your world, asking “why” like an insatiable three-year-old, and digging deeper than you might be ready to dig, I uncover the gems that become the foundation of a powerful book.

Passion

My passion is partnering with women leaders, trailblazers, and visionaries to unearth the incredible life stories and ideas the world needs to hear. Creating powerful books for women is the work I was put here to do.

Best Story

My business coach pushed me to niche my writing services and focus on women leaders. I was reluctant to eliminate half the world's population. However, I've spent most of my professional career working with and supporting women leaders. It made sense. It's been the best move I've ever made. Clients are happy, I'm happy. It's all good.

Origin Story

How did I get here? Well, that’s a squiggly, zigzag of a story.

Raised on a dairy farm, I grew up with three options for my future: nurse, teacher, or nun. (Mom really lobbied for the nun gig.) None (queue the pun) fit my independent, creative spirit. Journaling became my escape hatch — and eventually, my lifeline. I dove into writing, journalism, and foreign languages in college.

After detours through tech sales, franchising, and small business ownership, I finally landed on what lights me up: writing for women leaders with extraordinary stories.

When I’m not digging for your gems, I’m speaking my love language — cooking for family and friends, running by the ocean with my two rescue Pities, or curling up with a great book and a glass of red by the fire.

3 Steps to Writing Your Best Book

In the rush and excitement to get started writing your book, it can be difficult to step back, take a broader look and decide which ideas will combine to make a great story. But bypassing the planning or blueprint step means you will waste time, get overwhelmed, or simply just stop writing.

Creating a blueprint before you begin writing will provide clarity, focus, and organization for the chaotic jumble of ideas and experiences bouncing around in your head.

In this workshop, I will walk you through the steps to create a basic blueprint for your non-fiction book.

You will learn:
