AmyNicole Ellis is a speaker and creator of The Interruption Report, a platform exploring the patterns shaping how people make decisions, lead, and see themselves.
Her signature message grew from rebuilding after three bankruptcies and realizing that repeated outcomes can be data. What looked like separate failures became the foundation for her keynote, 3 Bankruptcies with ZERO Regrets: The Patterns Behind How You Decide and Lead.
AmyNicole speaks to women, leaders, and professional audiences about decision-making, identity, and leadership. She is the host of The Interruption Report podcast, founder of Fix Yourself & Flaunt It, author of the book in progress, Unread: The Interruption You Didn’t See Coming, and a featured speaker at the Women Loving Life Summit in January 2026.
My mission is to show people how to recognize the patterns shaping how they make decisions, lead, and see themselves.
I speak about repeated outcomes because they often carry information people have been taught to ignore, hide, or judge. When audiences begin to see their past as data, they can stop treating every disruption as a separate event and start asking better questions about what has been influencing their choices.
My area of expertise is pattern recognition through decision-making, identity, and leadership. I show audiences what may be operating beneath the surface so they can respond with more awareness and make more intentional decisions.
One story I share from the stage is the moment I sat on my lanai waiting for my third virtual bankruptcy meeting to begin. I chose the lanai because it is my favorite spot at home. I thought sitting there would keep me calm. It did not.
I remember looking at the screen and feeling ashamed. I kept thinking, “How am I here again?” At first, I thought I was facing another money problem. But sitting there, I realized the money was pointing to something deeper. It was showing me a pattern.
That moment changed how I looked at my past. I stopped treating every disruption like a separate event and started reading what had been repeating.
My work began after my third bankruptcy, when I hired a life coach and started studying how I was designed. That process showed me that my repeated outcomes were not random. They were connected to patterns in how I made decisions and how I saw myself.
That realization became my keynote, 3 Bankruptcies with ZERO Regrets, and later expanded into The Interruption Report podcast, my upcoming community, The Interruption Room, and my book in progress, UnRead: The Interruption You Didn’t See Coming.
I speak because many people are quietly asking, “How did I end up here again?” My work gives them language for reading the patterns behind that question.
What if the decisions shaping your leadership are being influenced by patterns you have never stopped to examine?
In this honest and thought-provoking talk, AmyNicole Ellis uses her experience of filing bankruptcy three times to show how repeated outcomes can reveal more than failure ever could. She invites audiences to look beneath the decision itself and examine the patterns influencing how they respond under pressure, how they see themselves, and how they lead.
Rather than treating the past as something to hide or move beyond, AmyNicole shows leaders how to use it as data. Audiences begin to recognize how familiar responses can quietly shape judgment, communication, and workplace choices.
This talk is designed for women leaders, professional audiences, and organizations seeking a more human conversation about leadership and decision-making.
Audience members will leave with a new way to interpret repeated outcomes and a practical starting point for making more intentional decisions.
