Biography

Natalie Fayman, DVM, PCC, CPC, CPQC, ACMC

Natalie is a veterinary ER doctor turned mental fitness and resilience coach and speaker. She helps veterinary leaders, practice owners, medical teams, and healthcare professionals reduce burnout, improve communication, and sustain performance. She blends 35+ years in practice with evidence-based coaching and Positive Intelligence® tools so audiences leave with practical strategies they can use the same day.

Natalie's presentations draw from neuroscience, behavior science, and Positive Intelligence® to give audiences practical tools they can apply immediately. Her signature topics include stress management, imposter syndrome, resilience, conflict resolution, decision-making, persuasion, and sustainable change management—with customized topics available upon request.

Natalie has spoken virtually and on-stage, including the 2026 Texas Veterinary Medical Association annual conference and National Veterinary Associates. She has appeared on leading veterinary podcasts including The Veterinary Life Coach Podcast, Vet Med Wellness & Leadership Podcast, and Veterinary Pawsitive Leadership Podcast.

What sets Natalie apart is her ability to transform complex behavioral science into engaging, interactive experiences. Audiences don't just listen—they discover their personal "Saboteur" patterns, practice real-time techniques to shift from reactive stress to calm clarity, and leave with frameworks they can implement the same day.

Natalie holds a PCC credential from the International Coaching Federation along with certifications as an Advanced Certified Mentor Coach and Certified Mental Fitness Coach. She offers the only RACE-approved mental fitness training program designed specifically for veterinary medicine.

Natalie is available for keynotes, breakout sessions, CE workshops, webinars, and custom team development programs.

Passion

I'm passionate about helping veterinary and other healthcare professionals break free from the self-sabotaging patterns that lead to burnout, compassion fatigue, and early career exit.

After 35 years in clinical practice, I've seen too many talented colleagues lose their love for this profession — not because the work was too hard, but because the mental and emotional toll was too great.

My greatest joy is helping people shift out of auto-pilot and survival mode by building resilience and reconnecting with their unconditional self-worth.

Best Story

One of Natalie's most impactful speaking engagements was at the 2026 Texas Veterinary Medical Association annual conference, where she shared a novel perspective on Imposter Syndrome, Dealing With Difficult People, and Avoiding Burnout By Optimizing Your Time And Energy. Attendees were engaged and equipped with practical tools to navigate their real-world challenges in the demanding veterinary profession.

Origin Story

I spent 30 years of my life stuck in the "Black Hole" of eat-sleep-work-repeat. I was married to my job, and my relationships and mental health paid the price. As much damage as that did to my life, health, and happiness, that experience was the necessary foundation for what came next.

I had a profoundly transformative experience with a coach, and saw firsthand how professional coaching changes lives. That led me to pursue my own coaching credentials, and to discover the power of Positive Intelligence. As I emerged from my own burnout journey more resilient and rejuvenated than ever before, I knew I had to bring these tools back into the profession that I loved so much... that almost took everything from me. Now, my passion for helping animals has expanded to helping heal my colleagues, and hard-working healthcare providers everywhere.
