Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than helping people experience those “aha” moments when they begin to see themselves, their leadership, and their purpose more clearly.
I am especially energized when speaking about leadership in all its forms, whether it’s helping emerging leaders find their voice, equipping seasoned leaders to lead with greater authenticity, or exploring leadership in a way that makes it relatable and memorable. I love bringing personality frameworks like the Enneagram to life, helping individuals and teams better understand what drives them, how they communicate, and how they can grow.
I’m also deeply passionate about helping people connect their passions, skills, and strengths to meaningful career paths. There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching someone gain clarity and confidence about where they’re headed and how they’re uniquely wired to make an impact. Empowering women in leadership is another area close to my heart. Creating space for women to step into their influence, own their voice, and lead boldly is work that continually inspires me.
At the core, I’m passionate about conversations that spark growth, deepen self-awareness, and equip people to lead with intention, because when people understand themselves better, everything changes.
One of my favorite moments on stage was serving as the closing speaker for a two-day legal and HR conference, tasked with ending the event on a high note for a room of 400 professionals who had spent days deep in policy, compliance, and some heavy content.
I walked on stage knowing energy would be everything. Early in the session, I broke the tension with a small but memorable confession: I told the audience I was wearing my “lucky socks,” which, to their surprise, featured a bold and slightly cheeky phrase. It was unexpected, a little daring for the audience, and exactly what the room needed. You could feel the shift immediately, walls came down, laughter replaced fatigue, and suddenly we were connected.
From there, I launched into Leadership in Pop Culture, weaving together humor, storytelling, and familiar cultural references to bring leadership principles to life in a way that felt fresh and accessible. The audience didn’t just listen, they engaged, laughed, reflected, and leaned in.
What made the moment truly special wasn’t just the energy in the room, but the response afterward. Attendees shared how refreshing it was to end on a session that was both meaningful and fun, one that helped them see leadership through a new lens while also reminding them that growth doesn’t have to be heavy to be impactful.
It’s a story I love because it captures what I aim to create every time I step on stage: connection, courage, a bit of boldness, and an experience people don’t just remember, but feel.
My path to this work didn’t begin with a bold leap, it began with a quiet knowing that I couldn’t ignore anymore.
After more than 15 years in corporate roles spanning HR, leadership development, and talent management, I had built a successful, stable career. On paper, everything worked. But behind the scenes, I was feeling the weight of burnout and disconnection. Following a round of layoffs, I deeply missed the colleagues and sense of community that had once energized me. At the same time, I had recently graduated from a prestigious coaching program, and something in me had shifted, I could see a different path, but I wasn’t sure I was brave enough to take it.
The fear was real. Walking away from a consistent six-figure career isn’t a simple decision. I wrestled with the uncertainty, the “what ifs,” and the pressure to stay where it was safe.
And then, in the middle of that struggle, I received a simple text from a mentor: “You are not alone.”
That message landed in a way I can’t fully explain, but it changed everything. It reminded me that courage doesn’t mean having no fear; it means choosing to move forward anyway, supported and grounded in something deeper.
The next day, I put on a black silk button-down shirt with tigers on it, a small but powerful symbol of the boldness I was stepping into, and walked into a conversation that would begin my transition out of corporate and into building my own company.
That moment wasn’t just about leaving a job. It was about choosing alignment over comfort, purpose over predictability, and trusting that the work I felt called to do, helping others lead, grow, and discover who they are was worth the risk.
Today, that decision shapes everything I do. It’s why I care so deeply about helping others navigate change, reconnect with themselves, and lead with clarity and courage, because I’ve been there too.
