Kaitie's passion for health & fitness started when she was first introduced to the gym in 7th grade and continued to grow as she started her career in personal training when she was 19. She graduated from Merrimack College with her BS in Sports Medicine and MS in Exercise and Sports Science while obtaining her graduate fellowship in D1 collegiate strength and conditioning. She worked at a private strength and conditioning facility for 7 years, worked her way from intern to Director of Operations & Education and finally made the switch to start her own business at the start of the pandemic and has now been in business for 6 years helping women feel at home in their bodies again while optimizing their health.
She's a mom of 2 and loves being outside, hiking, public speaking, & cupcakes
Women's health, gut healing, functional health, hormones, supplements
When I was postpartum with my first kid I ended up with severe bloating, swelling, dandruff, and brain fog and I couldn't lose any weight despite eating healthy and trying to take care of myself I couldn't see any significant changes or improvements. I was miserable and dealing with a toddler and motherhood and being a business owner. So I hired my first functional health coach, did a bunch of functional tests, and finally found the root of the problem. I spent a year and a half healing my gut, toxic burden, and nutrient deficiencies and finally started feeling like myself without all the symptoms and lost 25 lbs.
When I first started online coaching 6 years ago I was strictly weight loss but when my clients weren't losing weight with the typical calorie deficit and exercise and they were complaining of symptoms that weren't improving, I knew I needed to dig deeper into functional health and invest into courses and mentorships. for 5.5 years I've been continuing to advance my understanding and comprehension with functional health and have officially become a Level 1 Integrative Health Practitioner and in training to become level 2. The amount of lives we've changed because I dove into functional healing is in the hundreds and I feel like this is the best way we can truly help women feel connected to their bodies and feel empowered.
