"Energy precedes outcomes." ⚡️ When you change the energy from which you create and lead... EVERYTHING changes. ⚡️
High-achieving leaders often believe that growth requires more strategy, more effort, and more pushing. But that often produces a success that looks great on paper, but feels strangely flat, empty, and unfulfilling. Not to mention unsustainable (burnout, anyone?)
Michelle Villalobos helps leaders break out of that cycle and become Energy Rich™️ — shifting from forcing outcomes, constant striving, and achievement addiction to more grace, ease, and flow.
Through her 4-Step A.L.M.A. Process, Michelle helps leaders reconnect with what truly drives them (and fundamentally shift how they see the world) so they have more focus, energy, and impact.
A few highlights from her bio…
• Led over 150 multi-day leadership retreats
• Personally coached over 250 high-performing leaders
• Is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP®) since 2019
• Graduated #1 in her MBA class at University Of Miami
• Received high honors from Dartmouth College
(degree in Psychology, Math, and Spanish Literature)
• Fluently bilingual and bicultural (Cuban-American)
I’m deeply fascinated by the mysteries of life and of reality itself.
The old mechanical model of the universe is cracking open. Research in physics, neuroscience, and consciousness keeps hinting that the world is far more interconnected, participatory, and even mystical than we were taught.
Energy. Intention. Love.
These abstract ideas seem to really matter and I LOVE exploring that frontier — the place where science brushes up against age-old human questions like:
• Why are we here?
• How does “reality” really work — and what role do we play in creating it?
• What becomes possible when we understand how our personal energy interacts with the universe?
When I was nine years old, my mom, dad, brother and I did a road trip — 18 hours from Longmont, Colorado to visit my cousins in Northbrook, Illinois.
This particular year, we had a 40-pound frozen pig strapped to the roof of our beige Toyota Corolla. We’re Cuban, so of course we HAD to do a pig roast. (PS — this was the ’80s. Vegans hadn’t been invented yet.)
I’ve read that the childhood memories we remember most clearly are the ones filled with strong emotion.
This is definitely one of those.
When we arrived, I got to work. I recruited the neighborhood kids, set up a stage, and organized a talent show in my cousins’ basement. I directed all the numbers, wrote the “run of show,” arranged the folding chairs, created the program, ushered parents to their seats, and belted out the opening number — Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” — while gliding around the basement on roller skates.
I know all of this because it's one of the most vivid memories I have of my childhood. I loved everything about it. The creativity, the energy, the joy of bossing people around… ahem, I mean leading people.
But as I grew up and built my career, I followed a safer path — good grades, impressive jobs, external success. I lost track of that creative, inspired — and yes, just a little bit bossy — little girl for decades.
Eventually, after some hard lessons, I found my way back to her and reorganized my life to honor her.
And what I discovered is that when we align with who we really are — our true nature — leadership stops feeling like effort and starts feeling like self-expression.
For a long time, my life looked very successful from the outside.
I had impressive titles, access to glamorous events, and the kind of career that made my parents proud. At one point I was executive publisher of a major magazine in Miami, flying in helicopters to parties, rubbing shoulders with celebrities, and living what many people would consider a dream life.
But privately, something felt deeply wrong.
I remember struggling just to get myself to work in the mornings. My body was breaking down under stress, and despite all the external success, I felt exhausted, disconnected, and strangely empty.
Eventually it all caught up with me. After years of pushing, striving, and trying to build a life that looked successful on paper, I hit what many people would call a "dark night of the soul."
That period forced me to ask a question that changed everything:
What if success isn’t about forcing outcomes, but about aligning with who you really are?
That question sent me on a completely different path — one that eventually became the foundation of my work helping leaders reconnect with their own alignment, energy, and purpose.
Through storytelling, interactive exercises, and embodied transmission, Michelle first guides participants into an energy-rich state that makes them more resourceful, generous, and contribution-oriented. She then shows them the rest of the framework for Energy Rich Leadership.
Participants walk away with a new paradigm for leadership (influence from the inside --> out) and also with a practice to tap into a resourceful state that they can use anytime, anywhere, in any situation.
A poetic, high-impact transmission that unlocks courage, creativity, and heart-mind coherence. In this session your audience will release fear and regret, reclaim power, and connect with new possibilities – which inspires and energizes them for all that follows at your event.
Lay the energetic foundation for your entire event with a lived experience (not theory!) that fosters presence, activates coherence, and drives connection.
Michelle co-creates a potent “Agreement Field” that sets standards, invites personal responsibility, and ignites a culture of collective transformation.
In this high-energy, science-backed, ancient-modern experiential keynote, Michelle Villalobos reveals the one factor most high achievers have never been taught to optimize: their energy.
Not time management.
Not strategy.
Not one more productivity system...
Energy – the internal state from which every decision, relationship, and result in your life is created.
Drawing on groundbreaking research from neuroscience, the HeartMath Institute, and the science of consciousness, Michelle makes the case that energy precedes outcomes – and that the shift from Force to Source isn't a "soft" concept. It's a measurable, embodied leadership skill that changes everything downstream: how you think, how you lead, how you show up, and what becomes possible.
This isn't just an inspirational speech. It's a transmission.
Through story, science, somatic exercises, and a presence that holds the room in a way you'll feel before you can explain it, Michelle guides audiences into heart-mind coherence, what The HeartMath Institute calls a state of "optimal function" where your body, brain, heart, and nervous system are all working together instead of against each other.
Participants leave with more than insight. They leave shifted.
Ideal for: leadership conferences, association events, multi-day retreats, and any gathering where the goal is transformation, not just information.
