Biography

As a recovering people-pleaser, I know how difficult it can be to set boundaries and confidently be yourself. The pain and anguish experienced when you feel like you need to be who other people want you to be in order to feel loved and accepted.

As the only vegan in my household, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to stay true to your values when the people around you aren’t on the same path.

For years, I put everyone else’s needs ahead of my own, but through my journey, I discovered the power of setting boundaries, living by my values, and confidently prioritizing my well-being.

I have three missions that are very important to me:

1. Support vegans and aspiring vegans navigating the challenges of living a lifestyle different from the people around them.

2. Help busy women simplify plant-based living so they can improve their health, save time, and feel supported—even if their family isn’t on board.

3. Empower women to build better boundaries, reduce people-pleasing, and honor their needs.

On my YouTube channel, The Confident Vegan, I share inspiring interviews, practical tips, and empowering conversations about what it really means to live in alignment with your values. I am also the co-host of That Vegan Morning Show with Kimberly Winters of the Did You Bring The Hummus podcast—where we help you start your day the vegan way, live every Monday at 7 AM ET on YouTube.

I am in the process of updating this profile. In the meantime, you can learn more about my work at https://www.theconfidentvegan.com.
