Biography

Lauren Darisse is a healthcare executive, attorney, and operator at the forefront of women’s midlife health. She serves as U.S. General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of The HRT Club, a national platform focused on menopause and perimenopause care.

Her work sits at the intersection of care delivery, regulatory frameworks, and workforce impact. She advises on how women’s midlife health affects healthcare utilization, employer benefits strategy, and talent retention.

Lauren is known for translating complex healthcare and policy issues into practical business insights. She speaks on the menopause economy, women’s health as workforce infrastructure, and the real-world challenges of building care models in a system not designed for midlife women.

Her perspective combines legal, operational, and market experience, offering audiences pragmatic insight rather than theory.

Passion

Improving how healthcare systems, employers, and policymakers support women in midlife — and bringing visibility to a life stage that impacts millions yet remains under-addressed.

Best Story

In my work, I’ve met incredibly accomplished women who thought they were losing their edge — at work, at home, or both. Many were in perimenopause and had no framework for what was happening.

Seeing how quickly self-doubt turns into clarity when women get information and support was eye-opening. It reinforced for me that better education and care don’t just improve health — they restore confidence and participation.

Origin Story

My path into women’s health wasn’t linear. As a healthcare attorney and operator, I repeatedly saw gaps in how midlife women were supported by both clinical systems and employer benefits.

The “aha” moment came from realizing menopause wasn’t a niche issue — it was a systemic blind spot affecting workforce participation, healthcare utilization, and quality of life. That realization drove my work to build and scale solutions in this space.
