Charley ‘Sparkle’ Lapomardo is an experienced Emcee and Speaker who co-creates inclusive and connective spaces.

As a dynamic Facilitator and Performer, Charley is committed to helping people embody their most powerful and joyful selves both personally and professionally.

With a strong background in corporate community culture management and user experience research design, they have a talent for designing meaningful memorable experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.

Origin Story

Originally from Massachusetts, Charley's career journey began at UMass Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management, where they worked as a Resident Assistant while earning a BBA in Marketing, Theater, and Media Literacy.

It was here that they discovered their passion for creating engaging and inclusive spaces, inspiring them to pursue a career that combines creativity with strategic insight.

This passion led to their role as a Retail Product Analyst at TJX, then User Experience Researcher and Community Culture Manager at Wayfair.

Upon moving to San Diego, CA in 2023, Charley founded Sparkleworks, an organization dedicated to transformative workshops and events.

They enjoy their day job facilitating team building programs and workshops with Firefly Team Events, Onyx Offsites, Goodera, and the UCSD Challenge Course.
