Biography

Caroline Swift Holden is a Creative Technologist / AI Marketing Strategist and founder of Swift Start Go, a media + consulting venture focused on AI, Creativity, and the Future of Work. Over the past 8 years, Caroline has helped startups, venture funds, and media brands scale via growth marketing, product strategy, and client relations.

At Datavolo, Holden helped a Series A AI / data flow startup backed by General Catalyst and Citi Ventures get acquired by Snowflake. She led a full rebrand (logo, mascot, website, marketing materials), managed content and social strategy, and helped grow LinkedIn impressions (+36% organic, +60% sponsored) and YouTube views (336%) in under 5 months.

Before that, she co founded a social real estate app HomSurfin, helped scale grocery delivery startup Mercato by 10,000%+ YoY during the first 3 months of the pandemic, and helped scale VC firm Loeb.nyc during an intensive rebrand while also supporting 20+ startups, conducting research, and liaising with C suite leadership.

Her work sits at the junction of tech, storytelling, and community: she creates content, builds high-growth systems, and helps people and organizations move boldly into the future.

Passion

I'm most energized by moments when creative individuals realize they have the skills to not only break into tech, but to surpass their wildest expectations. I love showing founders, creatives, and professionals how to use tech, storytelling, and design to create game changing opportunities.

Best Story

My time scaling grocery delivery app Mercato was one of the biggest life changing experiences for me and also showcases how and why creative individuals can thrive in tech. Scaling 10,000%+ in 3 months is no joke, but my background in comedy proved to be my most valuable asset while working in intense environments under existential circumstances.

Origin Story

My career in tech wouldn't have been possible without my 6 years spent as a comedian in NYC where I learned the power of storytelling, improv, and being able to adapt while on the spot. I never believed that I had what it took to work in tech because I believed I wasn't "good enough at math." Transitioning into venture and startups, my time in creative fields proved invaluable whether it was pulling off large scale events like 2k+ person conferences, redesigning digital products, to working with Tony Blair's secret service team. Since then, I have become a firm believer, especially with the advent of AI, that Creatives will be our next Tech Giants.

Example Talks

Why Creatives Will Be The Next Tech Giants

For years, creatives have been overlooked in the tech world, often dismissed as lacking the technical skills required to thrive in the industry. But now with Generative AI, what if the future of tech belongs not to engineers alone, but to artists, filmmakers, and comedians? Caroline Holden, a creative technologist and content creator with 7 years experience in startups, AI, and venture capital explains why creatives are uniquely positioned to become the tech leaders of tomorrow.

This session is ideal for anyone interested in the intersection of creativity and technology or anyone interested in how Generative AI may fundamentally change what it means to be a stellar employee or startup founder.
