My passion is to be all I can be - but not in the Army. I'm what you call a Renaissance Woman. I'm often asked, "What don't you do," for which my reply is, "I haven't tried brain surgery yet." From tap dancing to classical flute, performing burlesque and winning doubles volleyball tournaments, I dig it all. I've been known to mount a horse or two; the animal and the Pommel. Clearing the ballroom dance floor or designing beautiful spaces, it's all about grace and pragmatism. No two days are the same, and my biggest passion is building my business bringing change to the world.
One of my most memorable stories is of a woman who attended one of the Healing Retreats. She laid down to receive a 1:1 Infinity Reiki session. Complaints were unmentioned and we got to work. Unbeknownst to me, this woman had been abducted and tortured for five hours. Later, she described the experience as being the cause of losing what she called her life force and the proper use of one of her eyes. Without any other intention but to make her whole, we both remarked when about three quarters of the way through the session the sensation of a great light energy descending upon her abdomen. She said, "My life force is returning." And when she opened her eyes, she said she could fully see out of both of them. As a result of this one session, she stopped self-medicating to hide from life, and is now back on her empowerment journey as a shaman healer.
By the time I was 28 I was enduring over 30 symptoms and diagnoses for which no doctor could solve. Up and blessed with insomnia at 3 o'clock in the morning searching for answers, I came across an article that described me and what it felt like to live in a body so riddled of toxins. This was my introduction to Mineral Balancing Science. With this method, I recovered my health.
After 12 years of divorce, my ex-husband died of a heart attack while in the hospital for kidney stones. He was 45 - he was on 17 medications. This was the day I realized I needed to open my doors for practice so that others knew they had an option over mediation.
