Let me take you back to the moment I knew everything was about to change.
I was standing in front of my high school classroom—18 years into teaching, leading kids through health lessons, organizing events, coaching teachers... doing all the things. From the outside, I was winning. Good job. Good salary. Benefits. Stability. But inside?
I was empty.
Not because I didn’t love my students. I did. But I knew I was building someone else’s vision while mine was sitting on the back burner. I’d spent years helping others find their voice… while silencing my own.
Then one day—mid-lesson—I had this sudden, quiet thought:
“You’re not supposed to be here anymore.”
Not in a rebellious way. Not even in frustration. Just... a deep knowing.
This season was over.
But leaving wasn’t simple. I had over $100K in debt. A mortgage. No guaranteed income from my business. I wrestled with God: "You want me to leave now? With all this? What if I fail?"
And God whispered back: "But what if you fly?"
So I did the unthinkable.
I turned in my resignation with no backup plan—just a calling, a crazy amount of faith, and a fire in my bones.
And since that day, I’ve helped others write and publish their books, created a thriving coaching business, launched a podcast, and spoken to audiences I once only dreamed of. I traded safety for significance.
