I love using the wisdom of great philosophers to inspire people in their everyday life. I encourage character over image and authentic connection over "likes" and follows. It's a joy for me to highlight the beauty of conversation, self-reflection, and authentic means for a life of happiness. How we define happiness and understand it, I believe, provides a foundation for flourishing in all areas of life.
I have wonderful conversations with my students that go beyond the lecture time and even the semester. This inspired me to create a podcast that would open university work to a broad audience. I didn't want to gate keep the topics and thinkers studied on campus. From there, Good Is In The Details podcast began. The show seeks out experts to share their wisdom in an educational and entertaining way. It is also a way for me to show my students that learning is a life long process, because on the podcast they can hear me learn something new and engage in material outside my area of expertise.
