Jen Olin Lafontaine is the Founder and CEO of Jen Olin Lafontaine Consulting. Jen is a Fractional COO and serves as a part-time executive who provides strategic and operational expertise to a company without the commitment of a full-time role. As a member of your leadership team, she is a thought partner to company leaders, enhances operational efficiency, streamlines processes, supports your internal team, and drives growth. As a Project Management Professional, she moves your projects from vision to completion. Her passion lies in team collaboration, business operations, human resources, sales, marketing, and innovative solutions.
Jen is also a mom, partner, daughter, and friend. Her professional background is in Operations. Working for 10 years in a family homecare business allowed her to experience each role in the company, train and support internal staff as they saw growth, and experience the selling processes. Transitioning into a business coach and Program Manager allowed her to develop skills in multiple areas. 2 years ago, she decided to start her Fractional COO business and hasn’t looked back. She is drawn towards women-owned, small to mid-size companies ready to work to build a sustainable business, handle growth, and plan their exit strategy. Bringing Jen Olin Lafontaine Consulting into your business allows the company's leaders to work on the business instead of continuously being brought into the day-to-day business. She is an accelerator!
Supporting Women-Owned Businesses and Co-Parenting
When I was 12, I was the only girl at a Dell Curry basketball camp in Charlotte for a week. On the last day, my team won the championship. I hit the game-winning shot, and the guys carried me around on their shoulders through the gym.
Coming out of college, I worked for our family homecare business in Charlotte. Helping it grow from its infancy to selling it 10 years later to a national homecare company, I learned all the ins and outs of operations and what it takes to sell a business. I stayed in the aging adult industry for years and underwent several life changes, including learning to be a co-parent. I eventually found myself owning my own business as a Fractional COO. I love what I do, and I help women-owned and small-to-medium-size companies put a system together to move their operations forward and build a sustainable business.
