My name is Danni Wei, founder and AMS guide, and I love assisting families that want to incorporate Montessori principles into their homes and everyday life. I am a Montessori Education Consultant and Guide, artist, musician, adventure seeker, and mama of a terrific-two.
I show families how to encourage their child’s independence while setting clear and kind boundaries. I assist them in regaining a greater sense of calm in their lives while navigating the challenges of parenting.
Additionally, children adore having age-appropriate activities that they can practice and become proficient at, developing independence and a greater sense of self in the process.
Among my credentials are:
- American Montessori Society (AMS) and MTEC certifications
- Child Development ECE certification
- B.A. in Studio Arts from UC Riverside
- M.A. in Education (AM2) from St. Catherine’s University
As a mother myself, I too am embarking on the wondrous journey of parenthood, and it would be such an honor if I can guide your family on your journey as well.
Work with me by joining one of my speaking engagements or sign up for a parent workshop.
I look forward to connecting with you!
I help overwhelmed families with young children implement the authentic Montessori educational approach so they can confidently support their child's cognitive, emotional and social development while cultivating a peaceful and connected family unit.
At one of my speaking engagements, a dad attended at the request of his wife, a former Montessori guide. He knew little about the Montessori approach and came mostly out of curiosity. During the Q&A demonstration, he watched as his son became completely absorbed in the knobbed cylinder work—repeating the activity with a spark in his eyes and deep concentration. It was a living example of the phenomena Dr. Maria Montessori described in her observation journals. The dad was so moved by what he witnessed that he left a true believer in his wife’s work and eagerly expressed his interest in attending my future workshops.
I began my journey as an interdisciplinary researcher, unexpectedly discovering Montessori through a part-time translator role. My passions for art, statistics, and genuine human connections initially shaped my path. However, it was the Montessori classroom environment—carefully prepared with thought, observation, and love from the guide—that truly captured my heart.
Witnessing the profound transformations children undergo through the Montessori curriculum and environment has been inspiring. After becoming a parent myself, I realized how fortunate I am to have studied Montessori education in depth. This realization fueled my passion to support other parents in understanding how to best nurture their children’s development.
Through my playgroup classes, workshops, and consultation services, I am eager to share this knowledge and help families create enriching learning experiences for their little ones.
