Best Story

The moment she made the decision to close her successful brick-and-mortar retail business after her husband and business partner were both diagnosed with cancer at the same time. It was a pivotal moment of heartbreak, uncertainty, and resilience. Despite the challenges, she saw an opportunity to pivot and use her years of experience to help others navigate their own business struggles.

Origin Story

After being burned out, stressed out, and frustrated my best friend and I decided to follow our passion and build our first business, a retail store, while still working our corporate jobs. People thought we were crazy because it was during the recession at the end of 2008 but we were determined to build something we love so eventually one day we could leave our corporate jobs. In 2014 we traded our high heels, suits, and our corporate roles for the world of entrepreneurship. While owning our store I also decided to embark on starting a consulting business helping small business owners to set and execute a leadership and operations growth plan as well as improve the way they built and led their team. In 2016 after both my business partner and my husband were diagnosed with cancer within a short time of each other I made the very difficult decision to close down our retail store and biggest dream so I could create more space to help and support both of them while also focusing on the consulting arm of the business.
