A seasoned speaker from the keynote stage to the board room, Tara passionately shares her thought leadership and messages of inspiration. Since 2000 when she sprouted her entrepreneurial wings, Tara has coached and mentored hundreds of talented Leaders and Leadership Coaches to create an even larger ripple effect of change in the world. As a former Executive of three companies, Tara knows all too well the joys, challenges and responsibility that leaders hold in their hands.
I am all about helping create a ripple effect of change in the world and helping people unlock their greatest potential. I believe my purpose is to help people remember who they really are.
As a former executive myself, I wore the "busy badge of honor" for decades. I was on the American Dream Merry Go Round, always reaching for the brass ring on every turn and feeling like it was just out of reach. I would say things like "It's just a really busy time. Things will settle down soon." But they never did, at least not for long, but that all changed in 2011 when I blew out my adrenal system and my body said "No more". Like the classic overachiever, I went through burnout a decade before it was trending. According to Forbes, 43% percent of corporate workers are experiencing burnout as we speak, and essentially it's because we have been taught to override our bodies and push ourselves past our capacity, time and time again. Ever since the 80's when Nike coined the phrase "Just Do It" we have embraced the belief that hard work, discipline and pushing ourselves is what gets results. In truth, it usually hinders our ability to perform at the highest level But the good news, is that we can learn to put down our busy badge of honor and move out of this Push Energy MO and learn to tap into what I have coined as Pull Energy, which is all about tapping into our intrinsic motivation so we are pulled into action. When we are in Pull Energy, we are at minimum 22% more productive then when we are in Push Energy, not to mention that it is a heck of a lot more fun.
After being the classic overachiever for decades, I knew it was time to put down my busy badge of honor. My greatest passion has always been to help others tap into their greatest potential and I founded my company in 2000 and have been speaking, coaching and training ever since. I have worked with this concept of Pull Energy with my clients for decades and have created a (winning!) formula to stay in sustained Pull Energy so that my clients can perform at a much higher level and still have plenty of energy left for their family, their friends and themselves.
