As the founder of The Friendship Strategist, I am a career switcher, strategist, and extrovert dedicated to helping others build and expand their professional networks. With over 15 years of experience across diverse industries, including higher education networking and global travel, I bring a wealth of insights into networking, professional development, and career transitions. My unique educational journey includes a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, where I specialized in digital marketing and strategy. At Pitt, I was honored with the Sheth Marketing Scholar Award and the Katz Alumnae Scholarship Award.
Transitioning from a niche career in landscape architecture to thriving in digital marketing at a large agency has taught me invaluable lessons about adaptability, storytelling, and leveraging relationships for career growth. These experiences inspired me to create The Friendship Strategist, where I design custom workshops to empower professionals to expand their networks, strengthen their personal brands, and discover new opportunities.
Beyond my professional work, I’m deeply passionate about fostering meaningful connections, giving back to my community through volunteerism, and uplifting others, especially underserved groups like students, women in business, and DEI communities. My optimism and genuine love for connecting with people drive me to help others uncover the endless possibilities that come with building authentic relationships.
To coach and inspire professional groups, especially young professionals and women, to strategically network to build confidence, advance their careers, and grow their network.
