Passion

M-T knows that women have the potential to achieve anything they set their minds to. It hurts her to see so many of them struggle to succeed because they don’t believe in themselves. She knows they can get out of their own way – they just might need the support and motivation to get there. M-T loves sharing her passions and insight with women to get real-time feedback and energy, especially lighting up when she can feel the audience coming to that “A-ha!” moment.

That’s why M-T is dedicated to helping women own and stand in their power and change their mindset to break their own glass ceiling and take accountability for their lives. She uses subconscious reprogramming to teach her clients to shake off the labels and stigmas they, their industries, and their peers have placed on them. M-T gives her audiences the confidence and motivation they need to boost their careers and their earning potential.

Outside of her speaking career, M-T loves spending time with her family (especially her nieces and nephews). Being active and staying fit is another one of her top priorities; she enjoys daily walks and dancing for fun. M-T also makes and sells her own earrings and loves to bake and travel.

Best Story

As the founding president of Maine Women’s Conference, I had to give the keynote speech for the first two years.

The second keynote I gave was less than a month after my father passed. That speech was very much about my personal story of how I figured out how to stand in my power.

That year I found myself in my darkest place and undertook a challenge that changed my whole life and trajectory.

I started out as an event coach, but as people watched me transforming my life, they started asking if I could coach them to transform their lives too.

It all started with my speech about standing in my power. As the trajectory of my life started to change, I took those lessons about standing in my power – about taking responsibility for my life, deepening my commitment to what’s most important to me, and living a life that I love – and turned them into a speaking and coaching career that’s helped thousands of others stand in their power too.

Origin Story

As a teen, I joined SkillsUSA Massachusetts, a workforce development organization for students. As the elected State President, it was my role to give the keynote to an audience of more than 2500 Massachusetts educators and administrators. After about 13 years of volunteering, they hired me to train the student speakers. But my goal then was to become an event planner, not a speaker. What would I talk about? What did I have to say?

In 2019, I took on an intensive, life-changing challenge. Part of the challenge, in staying accountable, was to post on social media every day. People were inspired by seeing my transformation firsthand – they started asking me if I could help them change too.

To answer the call of the people, I started accountability and mindset coaching, then gradually worked toward certifications in NLP, EFT Tapping, Hypnotherapy, and Life Coaching. I wrote a best-selling book, “Stand in Your Power.” In the spring of 2022, I left my day job and went full time as a coach and started my podcast “You Can Call Me ‘Bossy’” in 2024.

I never looked back. I’ve been helping people transform their lives ever since. Not only do I know for sure that I have something to say, but I’ve seen first-hand how the insights I share can push someone else to grow too. Now, I work with individuals looking to implement daily habits and shift their subconscious beliefs so they can create a ripple effect of change that leads to impact and income for their life.

Example talks

5 Steps I Took to Stand in My Power

This keynote is geared toward professional women looking to take charge of their lives. When we think of someone “standing in their power,” it’s easy to picture a well-dressed and put-together person. But appearances don’t always convey how someone is feeling or operating. This talk helps women realize that standing in their power comes from putting in hard work, from the inside.

M-T reviews strategies that she has used in her life, and with her coaching clients, to help audience members step into and claim their power, including:
- Finding a supportive and encouraging community
- Taking accountability for lifestyle choices and habits
- Doing activities that make them uncomfortable, so they grow
- Releasing parts of the past that no longer serve them, and rewriting their future
- Investing in themselves (through both money and time) to make themselves happy

The talk can also be customized to your audience’s needs and is also available as an interactive workshop.

Taking Radical Responsibility for the Change You Desire

To be a successful, profitable business operator, you must be willing to adapt to change – change within societal norms, government requirements, the public, and different generations.

M-T gives business owners strategies, ideas for execution and, most importantly, ways to shift your mindset to help your business adjust to changing times. Business ownership can very easily lead to burnout, frustration, annoyance, and overwhelm, especially when faced with challenges beyond your control. If you only focus on what you can’t control, you’ll always be acting and making decisions from that space. This creates a ripple effect that reaches everyone who interacts with your business.

M-T teaches you how to take radical responsibility for where you are today and how to embrace change, creating a balanced life and successful business that feels good and truly helps your community.

This talk features tips and strategies related to:
- Understanding mindset and the mindset framework
- Embracing change and flexibility
- Building awareness around limiting beliefs
- BE-DO-HAVE
- Boundaries
- The Power of Now

Level Up Your Career & Live Like the Women You Admire

In this 60-minute workshop, M-T will discuss how everything on the outside is a byproduct of what is happening to people on the inside. She will work with you to come up with an identity statement that provides a why and a purpose, the habits that will help you get there, and mindset practices (like EFT Tapping and journaling) that support change at the subconscious level.

In this workshop, she will go through the BE-DO-HAVE model:
- Get clear on who you want to be, the aligned actions (habits) that will get you there
- How working on mindset will be the key to having it all

How to Break Your Own Glass Ceiling

Our thoughts create our emotions, which create our actions, which create our results. But where do our thoughts come from? You may or may not be aware of your programming. It could have come from your formative years, or from generations before. For better results, you need to gain awareness of your programming. This will help you see where you might be creating your own glass ceiling. Then you can take action to break through and thrive on the other side.

In this workshop, M-T will review specific practices that will help you uncover the stories, agreements, and belief systems that are buried in your unconscious mind so you can:
- Build awareness of your programming
- Understand the changes necessary to get out of your own way
- Break that glass ceiling for good

Avoid Burnout to be a Leader Who Lasts

To make a lasting impact on the world, especially in the corporate world, you must stay healthy in mind, body and soul. Too often women, especially high-performing women who want to thrive in their careers, neglect their health to continue “showing up” and making an impact. But if your mind is not well, your body and soul will suffer, and so will your work.

It is essential to build daily practices that will help you stay sharp, able, aligned, and regulated so that you can keep performing at your highest level and reach the leadership levels of your desires.

In this workshop, M-T will teach you to:
- Connect with your inner wisdom
- Connect with your body
- Visualize what you want
- Discover who you need to be to create the thriving career you desire

M-T will lead discussions on how to differentiate what you can and cannot control and how to always be looking for opportunities or lessons to be learned, even in the hardest moments.
