Sarah Barnes-Humphrey is a logistics and supply chain expert, author of "I Buried Her In A French Press: A Memoir About Finding My Voice and The Power of Being Heard", as seen on BBC World News, Inc Magazine, The New Yorker and Huffington Post. Sarah has reached over 50 million supply chain professionals through the Let’s Talk Supply Chain podcast, her weekly live stream show “Thoughts and Coffee”, The Blended podcast and now The Blended Pledge.
Sarah boasts recognition as one of the Top Women in Supply Chain, 10 Most Admired Women in Business to Follow and Most Influential Leader in Supply Chain 2022.
Through her passion for collaboration, transparency, diversity – and doing better, more sustainable business, Sarah is the first ever podcaster to franchise. With a franchise in Asiapac and now setting her sights on Africa, Europe and South America she is taking the Let’s Talk Supply Chain Brand globally.
From thought-provoking questions, company deep dives to lively discussions and the celebration of real people’s industry success, Let’s Talk Supply Chain has been in front of brands like Dell, Lowes, and Netflix. LTSC has worked with the biggest names in supply chain like E2Open, S&P Global, Lora Cecere, Fourkites, and Chain.
But one podcast simply isn’t enough! Sarah also founded Women in Supply Chain which brings a breath of fresh air to logistics by highlighting the journeys and advice from women leaders and has furthered her passion for diversity and inclusion by founding Blended podcast to bring tough topics into the limelight, in order to create real change. With a panel of raw, honest and diverse voices, they share perspectives to truly learn from one another. PLUS The Blended Pledge, another one of Sarah’s commitments to all things DEI, is a non-profit arm designed to provide funding to cover travel expenses to diverse voices that we don’t normally see on supply chain stages.

Instead of signing up for Toastmasters to get over my stage fright, I hired a talent agent and went on auditions. I got yelled out of audition rooms because I couldnt memorize lines or "act" but I did get to be on live tv with Denise Richards twice, I was in a national photography and dog food commercial and also a photo in the Walmart shareholders book
I worked in the family business in Logistics for 20 years with the life goal of taking over the company one day, in 2017 on my 37th birthday I was told by my dad that he was closing the doors of the business and my expenses check was going to bounce and I was no longer employed. In 2016 I had started a podcast and at that time they were paying to come on the show so I had to keep it going while I looked for my next chapter. I learned graphic design, social media and website design and kept recording. I already called the podcast 2 Babes Talk Supply Chain as I had a male cohost and was pushing the envelope of the industry, In 2018 I started the Women in Supply Chain Series and by April 2018 no women would come on a show called 2 Babes so I rebranded to Let's Talk Supply Chain and the rest is history. I worked 2 part time jobs and didnt pay myself for 3 years and now have a team of 14, a trusted brand and thriving business. My superpower is creating engaging conversations so I am often hired to create content onsite at conferences, moderate webinars/panels, emcee livestreams and an interactive keynote.
