My background in hospitality, staffing and business gives me a unique perspective on today's workplace. I started my career with Marriott, have done staffing for large agencies, and owned a fitness center for 7 years. I started HPS in Dec 2019 and have grown it to a profitable successful organization. I am a mother of 3 adult children and have 2 beautiful grandchildren. I am an avid motorcycle rider, love to hike and anything else outdoors.

I was working in a manufacturing plant that was in its second generation. The company had been around for over 40 years and had many long-time employees. The plant was separated into three floors. Each floor had a different task, supervisors, and workflow. The owner was not sold on taking time to learn the "soft" skills, which I call human skills. He did not understand the benefit but gave it a shot. When I started working with them, a few of them had NEVER met!! It was crazy! By the end of the nine months together, they were a true team who trusted each other, were able to collaborate and had much less conflict. The owner and Managers were freed up to work on the business because this team was able to problem solve and make decisions. It has created much better customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
My early career I started out in Hospitality with Marriott and Chili's. I learned so much about client service and employee relations. Over the years after having children, I bought a fitness center. I was the owner/operator for over 7 years. I sold the gym in 2015 and went to work for my business coach. After spending four years with that company, I launched Human Power Solutions (HPS) in December of 2019.
